RMRK is pleased to announce the Spacers NFT sale in collaboration with the Subsocial team. All Kanaria holders with a Kokopelli gem are eligible for the presale which is currently live. Before diving into the instructions for participation, let’s properly introduce you to the collection.
Spacers is an advanced NFT collection of 10,000 equippable robots from outer space that can be edited through RMRK’s flagship NFT equipping technology. Each Spacer has various slots that other NFTs can be equipped to — think weapons or other handheld item, headgear, belts, etc.
In a dystopian 2076, the last conglomerate, Social News United, has captured the minds of the people, erasing democracy and free speech from human reality. Things are dire until the arrival of the first Spacer Fleet, a team of humanoid robots sent by the Galactic Council to fight oppression in the galaxy. Thanks to their exploits, they have been nicknamed the Champions of Free Speech.
Marine— 9,000 max supply; 6 equippable slots (5 MOVR)
Officer — 900 max supply; 7 equippable slots (20 MOVR)
Captain — 90 max supply; 8 equippable slots (100 MOVR)
Admiral — 10 max supply; 9 equippable slots (500 MOVR)
The Spacer NFTs also act as VIP tickets to the Subsocial ecosystem, enabling premium features for holders. Owning a spacer unlocks the following perks (depending on the rarity you purchase):
Similar to how Kanaria birds were originally claimed as eggs, all Spacer NFTs will first be sold as Pods whose identities are unknown. After the sale, all Pods will open to reveal the unique Spacer inside — with a unique body and an unknown combination of equipment (which are also NFTs that can be removed from the Spacer sold on Singular when trading becomes enabled).
The sale will unfold in three main rounds. The rounds, eligibility criteria, and timeframes are as follows:
This round will be for those that burn Kokopelli gems, allowing them early access to the sale. The Kokopelli round will last from October 26th at 2PM UTC — October 29th at 2PM UTC. Details on how to participate are below.
This round will be for select early supporters of Subsocial and select Dotsama communities. Eligible participants will be notified of their eligibility for this round which will start on October 29th at 2PM UTC and last for 3 days until November 1st at 2PM UTC.
The final round is open to anyone and will last from November 1st at 2PM UTC to December 20th at 2PM UTC. Any Pods not sold by then will be split between the SpacerDAO treasury and the Subsocial team (for future fundraising), with 70% going to the SpacerDAO treasury.
Please note that the sale can sell out at any time, as there are no per-account buy limits. Participants in earlier rounds have better chances at securing Pods.
